When people think of realtors, they think of someone selling them a house. When people think of someone selling them "something" it gets diverted to the awful stereotypical ploys of a used car salesman. It is so hard and stomach wrenching for me to hear the analogy come out of people's mouths.
A Realtor is someone who does their diligence when finding you a home to buy. Our intent is not to just sell you a group of cracking walls and a leaky roof because it provides us with a check! Our intent is to find you something that you will be happy with and fits the needs and wants of all of your must-haves.... which is always a very long list, and yes we are used to it, and yes you will have to compromise on some things. In the end though, we're not happy until you're happy.
My point to this post - of course there's a point! - is to inform you of a Realtors thought process when helping you buy your first, second, even your third home! We always try to do whats best for you, not whats best for us!
